Cast and Crew Interview

Baxx Baxx, an originally devised physical-theatre performance, explored the theme of ‘obsession’ through the perspectives of four characters; some are obsessed with materialistic things, others with relationships, while some lose their obsessions and obsess over obsessing. All four characters connect with each other and live harmoniously in the landscape around them; a landscape that draws stark parallels to modern day life in Malta, echoing the architecture of a traditional village pjazza, juxtaposed against with a modern surreal one. The performances analyses how a nucleus of people reacts when their perspectives and routines are threatened.
